The Home Selling Experience
Home buying can be fun, but when you‘re on the flip side of things (the seller) it can provide a whole new level of stress (even in a seller’s market). Working with buyers on a regular basis has provided me with insight that sellers may not realize. Preparing your home for sale requires a knack for what buyers want from their new home.
On the coast, buyers are often looking for “that special feeling” they get when they walk into a property. We are surrounded by nature’s beauty and our unique location near the coast provides a special environment that nurtures a certain lifestyle. My marketing plan aims to appeal to buyers online, with subtle staging and professional photography not only of the home but also of the area in which the home is located. 92% of all buyers begin with an online search, so if you miss the mark there, it’s likely you will lose the buyer upfront.
Another detail in which a seller should not miss the mark is strategically pricing the home. A good pricing strategy requires true knowledge of the area. Serving sellers on the shore since 2004 gives me the edge to educate my sellers upfront with real-time market stats. Marketing and pricing are only the beginning of the process; negotiations, contract knowledge, appraisal, inspections, and closing prep all take experience and skill to turn a good experience into a great experience. Let’s get together and chat about your goals.
